Pookybaby
“Pooky” baby is an adorable TWO year old, Chihuahua weighing 4 pounds. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations and will be micro-chipped. Her teeth were so bad that we had to have half of them pulled. She is still able to eat dry food with out any problem. She is housebroken but she won ' t use the doggie door. Her foster family lets her out every few hours. She barks at strangers but warms up to people pretty fast. Great little watch dog nothing gets by her. “Pookie” is crate trained but sleeps in bed with her foster mom. She likes to get on the furniture and loves to look out the front window... She can be a little growly with other dogs although all the dogs in her foster home are larger then she is. She can be possessive of her human. She loves people and enjoys her toys. She follows her foster mom everywhere and loves to be held. We don ' t think “Pooky” would do good being left for long periods. No children because of her tiny size (she is not nippy). She will play by herself with her toys and likes to ride in the car.

Peyton
Peyton is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog / Sheltie mix with gorgeous "eyeliner" and a dappled muzzle and legs. He is approximately 6-8 years old and at 30 lbs, he is a perfect medium size. Peyton has a Queensland temperament: devoted, wants to be with you all the time, even when off-leash. He is used to children, but not playful. He travels well, is crate-trained at night and is house-trained. He barks to alert. If you are ready for a somewhat older constant companion, and are familiar with Queensland Heelers (Cattle Dogs), then Peyton is the dog for you! He likes meeting people and staying near "his person" at home. He gets along very well with dogs of all sizes/genders and would enjoy a home with other dogs. He ignores cats. Peyton can be nervous in new situations but with a little patience, he adapts. Peyton is neutered, his shots are current and he has been wormed.

Tuwanda
Tuwanda is a sweet little female terrier mix. She is alert, lively, loving and tenacious. She only weighs about 9 pounds, and is ten inches tall. She is a total cuddle bunny, wanting to be held a lot. She is always right at your feet, so she needs someone who won't trip and fall. She plays with the other dogs fine, and loves everyone she meets. Tuwanda will require extra attention, because she is so young. She is spayed and current on shots.

Gidget
Gidget is a special and adorable 4-6 year old Schnauzer mix; she is spayed current on her vaccinations and is micro-chipped. This sweet and wonderful girl has been through a lot, since we got her and before we rescued her in March. She had a growth on her paw that we had removed when she was spayed. It was cancer but the doctor feels that the cancer was removed however there are no guarantees. If at sometime it came back her leg may need to be amputated. Gidget is quite a talker and enjoys walking on a leash, riding in the car and cuddling up with her foster family. She also loves the dog park. She gets along great with her canine foster brother and is playful she loves getting attention and giving it. She jumps right in there to get her "fair" share of petting and hugs. She whould make a wonderful addition to a family who gives her lots of love and attention. She will need regular professional grooming.
