My name is Darla and I'm a small “Maine Coon”--all the attributes and no pedigree! As for why I'm special, well, just look! I'm gorgeous. I must be brushed thoroughly at least once a day--any less than that would be an affront to the Universe, a woeful lack of appreciation of Nature's beauty. It's a rewarding activity; the volunteers say they’ve almost combed enough fluff off of me to knit a medium-sized kitten. I’d love my very own family. Darla was born around May 2006, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. Darla combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV.
