Fozzy Bear is a lovable, special Frenchie with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Rescued as a stray from Lodi, he overcame heat exhaustion, hair loss from allergies, and has been on the path to recovery with medication and allergy-friendly food. His hair is growing back beautifully, and he’s ready to find a caring forever home. Fozzy Bear is an unusual fluffy Frenchie.  Fozzy is approximately 1-2 years old, weighing around 30 pounds. He’s a sweet boy who enjoys going in and out of the doggie door and gets along well at the sanctuary, though he may need some additional house and leash training. His cherry eye is being repaired during his neuter surgery, and his blindness in that eye doesn’t slow him down or affect his loving nature.  We are seeking adopters with breed experience and a good understanding of the care French Bulldogs require, as they are a delicate breed that needs special attention. Fozzy has so much love to give and is eager for snuggles and companionship.  No more neglect for this deserving boy—he’s ready to blossom in a loving home!
