Freddie is a handsome 8–10-year-old, 9.9 pound, brown and black, Chihuahua mix. This little guy has an adorably sweet face. He is a charming senior that loves people. He is the perfect age as he loves attention and longs for a lap to sit in and become your loyal companion. He came to us by way of a good Samaritan. One of our staff members was at the city shelter picking up paperwork when the person was trying to drop Freddie off. The shelter instructed that person to take the dog back to the industrial park that he was found and leave him there.  While we lack funds to do his medical care, we could not see putting this poor senior guy back out in the elements!  Due to his age Freddie is looking for a home with no small children.  He likes to be right by his human and he would like someone to be home with him. He is a little chubby and it would be nice to see him get a couple pounds off. Please spoil your pets with love not treats. Healthy snacks like fruits or veggies would be nice.  If you are looking for a sweet boy to snuggle with or take a gentle walk with, Freddie would love to be that boy! He is scheduled to be neutered He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
