Jase is an adorable 9-year-old, 10 pound, Chihuahua mix. He looks like a miniature Basenji.  He has beautiful golden eyes and a ring of white fur around his neck. This handsome little guy was found in an orchard with five other dogs when he was barely a year old.  He has spent years 2 through 9 here at the sanctuary. Jase does not allow us to pick him up or hold him. Once he gets to know you, he is quite happy to stand on you to get a treat. He loves treats, especially chicken and other people food, he will eat almost any vegetable.  Jase is very happy with pack life. He needs a home with another dog or two that he can follow around. He goes outside to potty with the command “Go Potty”. He will use the doggie door. He sleeps happily in a crate (although we think he would adjust to sleeping in your bed)  Jase is a house dog that needs outside privileges in a secure yard. He loves to snuggle with other dogs. Can he grace your home with his happy self? He will greet you joyously with a happy dance. He will  make you smile. His presence is a delight. He is neutered, currently vaccinated and microchipped. He just needs to be appreciated and loved from afar.  OFFICE
