Kenji

Meet Kenji — a truly charming little guy and a wonderful ambassador for his breed (Pekingese) ! At 3 years old and 11.5 pounds, this handsome boy sports a beautiful sable red coat that will need regular professional grooming to keep him looking his best.  Kenji came to us as a stray through the animal shelter, where he was known as a bit of a “frequent flyer”—often wandering off to visit a nearby school in search of attention. Unfortunately, his previous owner did not have him neutered or microchipped, but that’s all changing now. Kenji is safely an AFC dog, scheduled for neuter, and already microchipped.  Kenji thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, making him an excellent candidate as a second dog in the home. He may need a little refresher on house training, but he’s already doing great with the sanctuary routine—using the doggie door and responding to the command “Go Potty.” He may also benefit from some leash training as he continues to build his confidence. Kenji is looking for a home with someone experienced in brachiocephalic breeds who understands his needs and will give him the care and attention he deserves. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, social, and lovable companion into your life, Kenji may be the perfect match!  Please follow AFC on Facebook   https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61582104536779      to learn more about our organization.   #Adoptionrocks  #AdoptDontShop
