Handsome Leo Is Ready for His Happy New Life!  Leo has been through quite a lot, and now he is ready to discover how wonderful life can be as a pampered family pup! Leo was surrendered to AFC along with his sister, Bella, and their father, Milo. Their family was abandoned when their owners moved away and left the dogs behind. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped up to care for them. But there was even more to the story—Leo’s mother, Luna, was already pregnant with her SECOND litter! The family was completely overwhelmed with nine dogs to care for. Thankfully, AFC had room to help Leo, Bella, and Milo. ❤ Leo is approximately 9 months old and weighs 11 pounds. One of his parents is a Maltese mix, but what else he is mixed with remains a mystery—perhaps a DNA test will eventually solve that mystery! Because Leo has spent much of his life as an outdoor dog, he will need someone willing to patiently teach him about his new indoor life. He will need some potty training and leash training, and he will need regular grooming to keep his coat looking and feeling its best. Leo is scheduled to be neutered, but we are looking for his forever home now. This sweet boy has so much potential.
