My name is Lily.  I am a 6-year-old Yorkie, weighing 4.5 lbs.  I ended up in rescue due to my owner could no longer take care of me.  I have some medical needs that are being taken care of by AFC.  When I came into rescue, I had lost my hair on my backside due to infestation of fleas.  AFC took me to the vet to be certain that was all it was.  The vet said no secondary infections,  so my hair should grow back in without any other treatment.  But was advised that I needed dental care and would have some teeth extracted.  AFC has set up my spay and dental care with in the next couple weeks.  I am in foster care right now and my foster mom says that I am a sweet, lovable girl.  Even though I get along with the other foster dogs/puppies in the house, I am fine without any animal siblings. I like to follow my foster mom around the house and occasionally get under foot, so i will need someone steady on their feet.  I prefer children over 12 who know how to handle and respect a toy size dog.  I like sleeping in bed with my foster mom.  I will need to be taken outside regularly to go to the bathroom otherwise I might have an accident in the house.  I ride well in the car and am small enough to go everywhere with my furever family.
