Meet the lovely Nala! This adorable 9-month-old, 9-pound cream and white

Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix is ready to find her forever home. With her smooth

coat, long legs, and expressive ears, she’s a real charmer! Nala is a shy

girl who is gradually coming out of her shell here at the sanctuary. She was

surrendered by her family due to housing loss, but she has a loving spirit

and is starting to show her playful side. She has experience living with

children and a cat, making her a versatile companion. However, due to her

mouthy nature, she would thrive in a home with teenagers who can provide her

with the patience and guidance she needs. At her previous home, Nala was

using potty pads, and at the sanctuary, she’s quickly learned to use a

doggie door and responds well to the command “go potty.” Some leash training

would benefit her as she adjusts to her new environment. Nala loves playing

with other small dogs and adores her toys. As a playful puppy, she still

needs some chewies to keep her busy.

Nala has been spayed, is vaccinated, and is microchipped, making her ready
