Radar is a CUTIE! This handsome boy is a 1 year old, 11 pound, red and
white, Papillion / Corgi /Pomeranian mix??? with gorgeous greenish/gold
eyes. His former owner is elderly and in failing health and fortunately
brought him to AFC. He was surrendered with his brother Bobo. He will be
shy in initial meeting and will require some patience to get to know you. He
is more comfortable with teenagers than adults. Radar would be happy as an
only dog with a family that has someone with him most of the time though he
is fine with his brother too, His first car ride was his ride to AFC and he
got car sick though we have since had him in a car and he did not get sick..
He should adjust fine to car rides with some practice. He will need a little
more leash practice as he is just getting used to being walked. He will come
when called but some obedience training is ideal. He is a very smart and
will learn quickly. He doesn’t play with toys yet but that should change in
a home environment. He is housebroken but expect a few accidents in a new
environment. We use the command “go potty” and Radar goes right outside to
do his business. His ideal home is a family with kids 10 and over. He will
require occasional professional grooming. Radar is scheduled to be neutered,
microchipped and will be up to date on vaccinations. Having lived with a
calm Senior he is not used to a lot of noise. Are you ready for a new best
friend? Radar will be a wonderful addition to any family. OFFICE
