Handsome Shadow is an almost 3-year-old, (09/09/20) 15-pound, black and tan, Chihuahua –Spaniel mix?  He had large eyes like his mama. He has a nice coat that makes him a pleasure to pet. He was surrendered to AFC with his mother Skye and siblings from two different litters.  Poppi, Bear-Bear and Daisy. His family had to move and had no-where to take them.  He is slightly shy but sweet. Will you give him the time he needs to blossom?  He is used to being a pampered house pooch. He wants to lounge on the couch by day and snuggle in your bed at night.  He will need leash training.  Shadow rides well in the car. He is good with other dogs. He lived with a cat that was kept in another room.  Shadow may be good as an only dog with your constant companionship.  He likes to “talk” so no apartments or condos please.  He is housebroken and used to being let out on a schedule. We expect a few accidents in a new environment.  Because he is shy, we feel an adult home would be best. He does like children of all ages, so a home with older respectful children will work too.  He is microchipped and currently vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered but we are looking for his home now.  He will need occasional professional grooming. Are you ready for a new best friend? Shadow is waiting for his furever home
