Handsome Tobie is such a precious boy. He is 4 years old, is a 19 pound, gold and grey, Tibetan terrier/Lhasa Apso mix ?.  He is such a sweet boy with a heartwarming story.  Since he has been rescued, his fur is growing out and he is now looking for his forever home. (He does need a good professional grooming.) His gentle nature and treat motivation will surely make him a loving companion for the right family. He will thrive best in a calm environment where he can feel safe and secure, especially given his background. Finding a patient owner who can give him time to adjust and show him love and affection is crucial.   If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Tobie, they should be prepared to provide the regular grooming he needs due to his coat. He is a playful, loving, happy boy. Likes to play with toys and tug o war. A home with another small dog would likely help him acclimate and feel more comfortable as he learns to navigate his new environment.  Overall, it seems like Tobie has so much love to give, he truly deserves a warm and caring home. He seems to be house trained; he does great on the routine at the sanctuary. He will use the doggie door and go in and out at will and is leash trained . He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
