Tootsie is a sweet and deserving girl with a heartfelt story. She was brought to AFC as a stray and has been suffering from a bladder stone, causing blood in her urine. Thankfully, she has an upcoming surgery scheduled to address her health issues, including spaying. While the cost of her care is significant, she is worth every effort because she’s been enduring pain for too long. She is 100% affectionate and eager to learn what it means to be truly loved. She’s currently adjusting to the Sanctuary routine and will need some additional house training and leash training to become a confident and happy companion. Tootsie gets along well with other dogs but would also thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. She’s already dreaming of her forever home and is ready to give lots of love to the right family.
