Our Mission is to promote the human-animal bond and the humane treatment of animals through public education and pet adoptions.
Since 1990, we have been devoted to making a difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them. Our organization started as a small educational, rescue, and adoption agency, and over the years, our love for animals has grown into a haven for cats and dogs in need.
In January 2000, we opened our Cat Shelter and Sanctuary, providing a safe, loving space for felines to heal and find new homes. In 2004, we expanded our mission to include dogs, creating cozy indoor kennels and a joyful exercise yard where our canine friends can thrive. Today, our shelter is a bustling, caring community housing between 50 and 85 cats and 24 to 35 dogs at any time—each one deserving of kindness and a second chance.
Our dedicated team, of staff and volunteers, works tirelessly to ensure every animal is fed, loved, and receives the medical care they need. Behind every successful adoption is a compassionate staff and volunteer team who believe that every paw deserves love and respect.

As I watch them interact daily, while either chasing each other from one end of the yard to the other. Or just snuggling each other while at rest, to cleaning each-others ears; I am so thankful to have been able to keep them together! Randy can attest to how persistent I was in adopting them. You even allowed me to take them home the day after the had been fixed. They were meant to be together and they were meant to be with our family.
Looking for a companion for myself and my mildly disabled adult daughter. Pets are great therapy for those with disabilities. Nikki appears to be very sweet and lovable. I believe she will be a great companion for both of us and provide great comfort for my daughter. We will likely look into Nikki as being a therapy dog for my daughter. My husband has training in dog obedience and is a holistic health care practitioner for animals.
Emma is perfect for our family. My husband and I work at home and have a quiet atmosphere. Emma has that quiet and mellow personality that we like. She also is a very loving and wants to held, and seems like a dog wanting to be apart of the family.
