Little Gus is a sweet boy! He is a handsome 2.5 year old, 7 pound, scruffy,
Yorkie-Chihuahua, mix. He was surrendered to AFC with his mother Layla. His
owner was a single mom working two jobs and she felt the dogs deserved a
better life. He is a happy and playful boy. He is looking for a home with
human interaction. He does not like to be alone. No apartments for this boy.
he needs a yard to run in. He LOVES to run from the office all the way out
to our back yard. Gus loves to play with his toys and he is a very
affectionate boy. He gets along well with other dogs, his size. He is
housebroken and will use potty pads. Here at the sanctuary we use the
command “Go Potty” before taking the dog outside. Gus is happy to comply.
This is a great habit to continue. Due to his small size he should not be
left alone outside. He walks well on the leash and rides well in the car.
He could use some obedience training. He loves kisses and snuggle time. Gus
needs a family home with kids 10 and older or an active adult home where he
gets his play time and daily walks. He will need occasional professional
grooming to look his best. Gus is neutered, microchipped and up to date on
vaccinations. Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy?
Gus is waiting for you to love him. OFFICE
