Sweet Evie is Ready to Find the Loving Home She Deserves!  Evie’s story began with heartbreak. She was heartlessly abandoned at a senior mobile home park along with three other small dogs. For weeks they wandered the park, frightened and searching for safety, until a kind-hearted Good Samaritan patiently earned the trust of two of them and safely lured them into her yard. Sadly, by then, the other two dogs had disappeared.  The lucky survivors became **Emmie and Evie**, and they couldn’t have been more grateful to be rescued. After a trip to the groomer and plenty of much-needed love and TLC, they are now safe with Animal Friends Connection and ready for their forever homes!  Emmie is adopted.   Evie is approximately **1 year old** and weighs **12 pounds**. She has a beautiful silver and black coat and appears to be a **Havanese/Poodle mix**, possibly with a touch of **Schnauzer**. Whatever her breed, she’s absolutely adorable!  Evie is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves giving hugs and being close to her people. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and will need a confident canine companion in the home to help show her the ropes. She uses a doggie door but may need a little help with house training in her new home. She’ll also benefit from some leash training as she continues to build her confidence. Like many dogs with her coat, Evie will need regular professional grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. Evie is scheduled to be spayed and is available for adoption now. She has been vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed.
